Want to Make a Hydrangea

Today I made a card honoring the QFTD on Splitcoasterstampers. It is Mary aka jandjccc. I cased this card of hers. Except, I changed her butterfly to a hydrangea I made using this tutorial from Kittie Caracciolo.  It is an easy tutorial and I had a lot of fun making my flower.

I am entering my card into these challenges:

Stampin' B's and others - Mustang

As hostess of the Stampin' B's Design Team this week, I asked that we make a masculine card using black, brown, and one color of your choice. Mine is gray.  I love this image and can think of a couple of horses lovers who would enjoy having this card.

My card is really simple. I love the houndstooth and think it is very masculine. I colored the horse with
a gray Copic and added a couple of black, corduroy buttons.

Hope you'll join us. If so, just link to the inlinkz tool here.

I'm entering these challenges:

EtsyInspired - Paula Art is the store from which we are to choose our inspiration. I love this beautiful, child's carousel horse wall art.

Ivory and Lace=Romance

Don't you think ivory and lace sounds romantic? I sure do. Colleen Dietrich is hostess for Speedy the Cat's Friends challenge #57 this week and that is what she asked for...I couldn't resist. After a steaming HOT day in the yard working, I thought it would be refreshing to go to the craft room

I've used a Cuttlebug Textile folder on PTI vintage cream cardstock. I did a little sponging on the bottom edge and distressed the top edge. My 'fly is a Martha Stewart deep edge punch called Monarch Butterflies. The pretty, delicate lace is from Jo-Ann Stores. Added a trio of mini prima roses and pearls on three of the butterflies. I'm using a sentiment from Mark's Finest Papers set called Hearts, Hearts, Hearts.

Flourishes Timeless Tuesday #120

This week is my last as the May Guest Designer with the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday team. It has been so much fun and super to work with this awesome team. Thanks so much for the opportunity.
This week Cindy Haffner is hostess and asked that we use the colors cranberry, caramel, dark grey and/or brown.

I wanted to make a lattice card and it was my first attempt. No frame-long story. LOL
The stamp sets I used are Flourishes Friendly Reminders and Home Tweet Home. I'm using the Spellbinders Nested Pennants die cut for my sentiment piece.

This was also my first attempt at a paper rolled rose. I had earlier made a ribbon one and really liked it so I thought I would try paper.  I sprayed my rose with Smooch Spritz and added just a few Dazzling Diamonds.
I paper pieced the bow on the  mailbox.

Read the participation rules and leave a comment on the blogs of each member of the Flourishes Team to be eligible for the prize:
