Buttons and Hearts

The Queen for the Day on Splitcoaststampers is Jennifer aka mother's daughter. I wanted to case one of her cards and decided on this one. I added a layer and used a different image. I found my image at Sassy Cheryl's Digis and it is Button Flowers. The added hearts are Stamps by Judith, and the sentiment is Love Remains from Mark's Finest Papers and Stamps. I colored with Copics.

Just a clean and simple card to end the week. I think this wraps it up for me until next week.
Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend.

My card is entered into Sassy Cheryl's Challenge Blog: #148 Let's Keep it Clean/Clean and Simple

Hearts and a Key

CCEE1302
Joanne Grzelak gave the challenge at CCEE Stampers this week. She asked that we use our newest stamping 'toys' and to identify them. I know it doesn't seem that I used my new Inkadinkado Stamping Gear. I did, just using the heart stamp from the set and not the cog, wheel, etc.  My other new item is the key. It is a QuicKutz heart and key die, Key to My Heart.

I used Stampin'Up! Dazzling Diamonds on the hearts and Glossy Accents on the key.

We hope you will play along with us and use your new toys. Be sure to let us know what they are.

Mr. Marshmallow

There's a new challenge on Splitcoaststampers and I am going to try to keep it up each month. It is a Christmas card challenge. Once a month, there will be a new challenge issued and you can make one or as many cards as you like. You do have to be a Fan Club member to join.

The challenge theme this month is CHRISTMAS WEDDING. No, you don't have to make a wedding card. Be inspired by borrowed, blue, new, and old..or all. I was inspired by blue and old. My stamp is one I've probably had since I started stamping and never used. I do love it. Of course, I do, it's a snowman. :-)

Waaaaaaaay Too Many Cookies

Yes, it's another snowman. You know I love them. When I saw this snowman digital image, I just had
to have him. How funny is that big belly. Just looking at him scares me into a diet. Ha

The image is from Justinklined and is called Fat Snowman. No kidding!

My card fits the following challenges on Splitcoaststampers:
TLC 411/The Best of 2012 which means you are to choose a technique from that year and make a card using it and it fits the central theme for the CT1212 Fan Club Monthly Challenge/Baby, It's Cold Outside.

Also, Simon Says Stamp Blog Challenge is new something or you can use something new. That is my snowman image. Brand new and couldn't wait to use it.

Off to make some chili and get ready for the BCS National Championship game tonight between my team, University of Alabama,  and those Fighting Irish Notre Dame. Go Bama!!!
