Funky

The rain stopped long enough to give us a few snowflakes on Thursday. Wow! We don't know what to do without rain. :-)  We've had at least 13 inches since Dec. 15th. There is a promise of sunshine for several days now and that makes me happy. Our snow didn't stick, just a little on the fence ledge and around a few shrubs and trees. Fingers (and toes) crossed for a big one later this winter.

I am using this Sassy Cheryl's Digis image to join in the challenge at Inspired by Stamping-IBSIC42 where my friend Colleen is a DT member. She has certainly inspired me with her beautiful cards made with IBS images and has enabled me to place a very recent order.  :-)

My image is Funky Bunny and I just think he is too, too cute. The challenge is to use the colors posted below. Aren't they yummy? My sentiment is from Mark's Finest Papers and Stamps/Blessings.
I have gone from snowmen to Easter cards. Would you say I'm getting ahead? :-)

I used PTI white cs with Stampin'Up! Night of Navy cardstock.
The image is colored with Copics and the ink SU Night of Navy.
That's it on this CAS card.

My card is also for the Queen for the Day on Splitcoaststampers, QFTD148. The queen this week is Brenda aka tessaduck. I am doing a loose case of this card.

For uploading,  I'll probably be away from my blog until Thursday. See you all soon. Have a great weekend.

I love it, my friend! We sometimes have snow on Easter, so your jump from snowmen to bunnies isn't all that much of a stretch ;-). Have a great time away!

Fabulous CAS card and love the image and how you coloured the bow :) By the sounds of your rainfall, you are living on the West Coast LOL! Hang in there - sunshine eventually comes!

Hi Benzi,

This is so CUTE! Your use of white space really highlights the image which you colored perfectly! It makes me think SPRING! Funny you're hoping for snow - I know you live in the south - here in Michigan we hope for NO SNOW.

Fabulous use of those colors, Benzi! What an adorable image, too. I keep trying to do CAS as well as you do it, but it's tough. I always want to add at least twine or a bow. :-D This one is perfect!

Glad to hear it's finally stopped raining. We have snow! Whoohooo! But its horrible wet slushy stuff. Booo.

Benz, this is incredibly fun - love the bunny and the fun green bow (you colored it wonderfully). The CAS design is perfect for this and really makes that bow pop. Hope you enjoy that sunshine and hope we do get one big snow before the end of winter. Hugz!
