QFTD28, Inspiration Challenge, Crazy4Challenges

The good news I have today is it's raining at my house. We are about 12 inches behind in rainfall. My utility bill will be a large one this time for watering...have to save the grass, shrubs, and flowers.

I am really not fond of this mix of colors nor my ribbon. I made a Halloween card yesterday that I really liked and am not in the summer mood but I was doing a color challenge and it is what it is.

This is the color inspiration I used from the splitcoaststampers Inspiration Challenge today. I managed to include some of the colors. The handbag is from a
company called TADENBERG.

I'm also entering this card into Crazy4Challenges They want to see some bling. Mine will be the button and the sparkling Stickles on my leaves.

The card is also for Carla aka cmsuto on Splitcoaststampers. She is Queen For the Day, although she will wear the crown all week until another Queen is named

Oh, I think this is so pretty, Benzi!! You captured that lovely purse in a super way. Nice Stickles application, too!! But I can understand you not being in the mood for making a card with summery colors. Right now I'm finding myself shy away from color challenges that aren't terribly fall-like! I'm so glad you are getting some long-awaited rain--that's good news, I'm sure :)

I know what you mean about color challenges sometimes being not what you want...but that's why it's a challenge! And you did a lovely job of creating graduating colors on the focal piece.

Glad you're getting some rain; we are too, here in NJ. MUCH needed, as well.
