This week for Speedy's Friends challenge #25, Geri gave the challenge to do stitching or faux stitching on your card. That is a challenge that causes much trembling. LOL Let me tell you, I can't make a straight stitch. My sister gave me a Janome for Christmas last year but I never have time to practice on it because I'm always making cards. You know..the addiction! So, I just used some faux stitching on my envelope..couldn't find a spot on my card for it. Not very good planning, I suppose. I also stamped the same MFP's tree on the envie as the card.
I stamped my tree twice for dimension, cut out, and placed on top of my die cut. I like it except I wish I had stitching on it...maybe soon I'll master that.
Other challenges I'm entering: Paper Cutz #63 Anything Goes

Gorgeous pendant for the tree and I love the "snow" on it too :) Loving the green and white as well. Lovely card. Will be looking for some stitching on future cards now LOL!
You may need a week off to get the camera and the sewing machine mastered :)
Lovely combination of elements! :) Thanks so much for joining us this week at Just Inspirational!
Well, you used stitching! LOL Very pretty card!! Thanks for playing with Speedy's Friends!
What a sensation design with this MFP Christmas tree!! So beautiful, Benzi!!
Thank you for sharing this wonderful holiday card with the Friends of Speedy the Cat in this week's stitching challenge!
This is SO pretty, Benzi!! I love the olive green and white combo. I think your stitching on the envie is a perfect solution--good thinking!! And the white embossing on the tree is perfect for snow. A lovely creation :)
So pretty and serene looking. I love the MFP tree all covered with snow.
Thanks for sharing with us and for joining Speedy's Friends this week, Brenda!
What wonderful holiday card! I love your cross stitching!!
Thanks for playing along with us!!
Gorgeous card, love the pop of your green tree against the pretty white embossing. Can't believe you have a Janome and haven't used it (sooo envious, mine is super crappy) Get your sewing machine out girl!... I can't sew straight either, so when my stitching goes really wonky I just sew another wonky line and it kinds looks as if it was intentional!!
GREAT card!
