Clean and Simple Valentine

O.K., it's time for a studio light. The weather has been so dreary here lately and I've had a bit of trouble
getting the photos I want. My hubby said he would make me a light tent or whatever I need. I am doing research.
Yes, we had a bit of snow last night and it looks as if the ground is covered. Not so much this time but we may have more next week. Maybe the sun will come out on Saturday. What a glorious day that would be.

I bought this little bird stamp recently and was about to die to use it. When I saw Little Red Wagon had
a challenge for a one layer wonder card, I knew it was my chance. I just sprinkled a few heart remnants from my heart border punch for the birdie to be pondering over (really knowing they are meant for him) and a sentiment, score line,  and ribbon and it's finished.
My card also fit Speedy the Cat's Friends challenge #38 at Mark's Finest Papers to use hearts.
I think my card also fits the CAS challenge #102 at Splitcoaststampers

Recipe:
Stamp: All Night Media - No name, Studiog for sentiment
Paper: PTI white cardstock, Stampin'Up! Cherry Cobbler
Ink: Stampin'Up! Cherry Cobbler, Memento Bahama Blue, Lady Bug, and Rhubarb Stalk
Accessories: Scor-Pal, twine from Mark's Finest Papers, Fiskars heart border punch (remnants)

I can certainly understand why you were anxious to stamp with this bird! So cute, and I love how you colored him! Those little hearts look so cute the way you used them, and the fonts on that sentiment are gorgeous! Love it all!!
We got about 4 more inches of snow overnight here in PA. My DH (on his way out to run the snow blower said) "I'm really getting tired of playing this game!" LOL Stay warm!!

Simply adorable! Such a cute bird and I like the look of the sentiment!

Delayed school by 2 hours so at least the children don't have to make-up another day.

Benzi, this is so simple and sweet. And I know what you mean about needing better photography light. What I do is this: I keep a white damask polyester table cloth with all my crafting supplies (doesn't get wrinkly because of the poly) and drape it on the front part of a dining room chair (on the seat), partially laying on the floor. I have two small OTT lights (from JoAnn fabrics, with 50% coupons) that I position on either side of the card, then snap away. Works better and more consistently than daylight. Hope that helps.

Benzi this is really a very pretty C&S card. I always find them hard to do but you did a fabulous job!

Brenda this is a GORGEOUS one layer card! Love that little bird, those little hearts, and the twine! I'm running behind on my comments this week - it's been crazy!

I used a homemade light box for a year and loved it. I actually made it myself with a box and some fabric. I just got a new one for Christmas and I'm trying to get used to it.

I understand your photography challenges.....me too......however I can certainly always see your cards and their beauty, so don't fret (and I can do that with my weak peepers so it can't be too bad...lol!!!)
