Mother's Day Stampin'B's

This week on the Stampin B's  Design Team challenge #107, Vicki Dutcher asked us to make a Mother's Day card. I don't have my mother now so this card will go to a mother who lost her only child some time ago. I know she still likes to be remembered on Mother's Day.
Hope you'll join us this week and link to the inklinz tool on the Stampin B's blog.

I am using a flower from Mark's Finest Papers, Apples and Camellia. I cut out and layered the top center part of the flower. I have colored it was Copics, as well as the butterflies that I punched with a Martha Stewart butterfly punch. The window frame is a die called Decorative Window Scene and made by Spellbinders exclusively for Heartfelt Creations. I cut it out on my Cuttlebug, embossed, and sponged some clouds in the window panes. Computer generated the sentiment.

I am entering my card into the Woodware USA Challenge #23 to use die cuts/punches. I used both.

Recipe:
Stamps: Mark's Finest Papers-Apples and Camellia
Paper: PTI white cardstock, unknown designer paper
Ink: Memento Summer Sky and Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Martha Stewart classic butterfly punch, Heartfelt Creation Decorative Window Scene die cut,
Leaves from Mark's Finest papers-Grandma's Hope Chest premium paper craft pack, pearls, Spellbinders
Shapeabilities ribbon banners

I don't know what's going on with you in blogland. I feel so left out. I wish I could join in with your bloggers; but, alas, I can't do SCS and blogs. I sure do enjoy yours Benz. I see you have 88 bloggers now and lots of logs too. I'm so proud of my lil' Benzi. Hey, wait a minute, you need to update your Stampin'B team members like Anne and myself - What are you thinkin?

This mother's day card is just amazing, and how generous of you to make it for someone else! Whoever receives this will love it! Those flowers and butterflies are just beautifully done!!
I'd play along, but my best friend bought ALL my Easter and Mother's day cards last night, so I'm as they say - "out of stock!" LOL I lost my mom a couple years ago too, so I have no need to make them for myself anymore either.
Happy Easter weekend my sweet friend! Have a fabulous time!

Brenda this is so beautiful!!! The clouds in the window are so perfect for this card! It's just one of the saddest things for a Mother to lose a child and I'm sure it will be so appreciated that you remembered her on Mother's Day - which I'm sure will be a sad day. I'm sorry for the loss of your Mother too Brenda.
