Stitchy Bear, Lite Brite really gets me in the mood for decorating. This week Tuesday Throwdown is giving the challenge to do your favorite color combo. Well, I have a few...black, red, and white....pink and brown. Really, I just don't know. But, I do know I love red and green for Christmas.
My sister gave me a magazine called Make Christmas Cards (Christmas 2011 Special Issue). My green dotted and red panels were cut from one of their designs. I liked the shape and cut my papers that way. No Spellbinders nestabilities this time. The dotted paper also came from that magazine. You know, some magazines include sheets of paper for you to use.
I glittered my star with Stampin'Up! Dazzling Diamonds and put glossy accents on my pot. The image is colored with Copics. I used a couple of punches for the snowflakes and a Cuttlebug embossing folder for the background.
