FOSTV challenge #1 of 2012-Gatefold

The holidays are almost over for me and I suppose most of us. Sooooo, it's time to get serious with our crafting again. Don't you love my big ol' Buffalo? I made this card for the FOSTV challenge #1 for the new year. You can find our challenge at Home of Speedy TV. The challenge this week is to make a gatefold. Folks, if you've never made one, they really are so easy. I wanted to make mine a masculine gatefold and that is why I chose this wonderful stamp set called Buffalo Spring. This set can be found at Mark's Finest Papers.

Want to see a bit of the inside?
I'm using Mark's Finest Papers Old World Gold cardstock and the ribbon is from MFP, Deepest Mahogany stitched grosgrain, shown here. I added a couple double punched corners with my EK Success punch and some brads. The dp is from a Making Memories scrapbook pad.
Oh, and he is colored with Copics.

WOW! Wonderful masculine card, Benzi. Love the photo corners and brads. They really work with the "Old West" feel of the card. Perfect ribbon choice, too.

I really must try this style of card, never done one! Way to use the buffalo over the center line.

Nice, masculine card. I like it lots. It is so difficult (it seems) to find nice images for men. Wel done. Thank you for entering your card in the Card Crafter's Circle challenge this week.

Hello, Buffalo! He looks a bit intimidating, but I'm sure he's a friendly guy and wants us to peek inside your card. (which, by the way, looks very cool in there!)

I haven't tried Gate Fold yet, but take your word for it being easy. :)
