Coneflowers

The CCEE Stampers have a new challenge starting today and, as hostess this month, Cindy Haffner asked that we do a card using three (3) embellishments. Mine are ribbon, pearls, and a buzzing bee that I've had on my craft table for a while. I forgot where I got the bee but I think it was a stamp I colored and cut out. I'm using a Splitcoaststampers sketch from challenge SC377.

This is a Flourishes image from the stamp set, With Gratitude.  These flowers look just like the coneflowers I grow. I have some in pink and some in orange.  I'll be glad when they are blooming because it will be very warm by then, rather hot.

Recipe:
Stamps: Flourishes-With Gratitude (flower image)
Paper: PTI white cardstock, Stampin'Up! Pretty in Pink, ColorMates Light Groovy Grape, unknown dp
Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa and Aloe Vera for sponging
Accessories: Lavender pearls, Copics, Martha Stewart eyelet lace punch around the page, Spellbinders Labels 4 nestabilities, ribbon is Go With the Grain

Hope you'll come along and play our challenge this week. It is located here.

I love this pretty pastel, springy card. The laces nestie was so perfect for the background of the beautiful flowers and pearls.

I love coneflowers, but the ones that I got seeds for are much more straggly looking than your lovely ones :D. Love that paper, too - it reminds me of madras cotton. I'd love a summer skirt in those colours!
