My card is for the Queen For the Day on Splitcoaststampers. Her name is Sue aka suen and this is the card I cased. I really loved that flourish running through her image. I'm using an image from Rubber Stamp Tapestry called Island Beauty. The stamps were pegs and they are really fun for this type card. Next, I stamped my flourish from Rhonna Farrer for Autumn Leaves. The sentiment is Inkadinkado.
The paper is Stampin'Up! Melon Mambo and Perfect Plum.
Simple and quick...just what I needed.

Well having moved from Hawaii after living there for 9 years I can understand why you would want to go there. I do miss it most days especially the weather and the tropical flowers!

I'm with you about being in Hawaii today, but our weather is not chilly. In fact, it's extraordinarily hot and not a breeze blowing anywhere. Love the card -- fabulous stamping! The pink and purple are perfect together, and I love the CAS design. Spectacular!

I think Hawaii would be a fine place to be today, Benzi! It's cold here too. These pretty flowers warm my heart and make me think of beautiful, sunny places.

Simple and quick is very, very good sometimes! It still packs a punch with those bright Hawaiian flowers.
