FOSTV-Burned Batik
I tried a new technique for the FOSTV (Friends of Speedy TV) this week. That is the new challenge starting today. I had never done Burned Batik so I thought I would try it. It took several attempts for different reasons. If you would like to try this technique, it can be found at here at Splitcoaststampers.
I'm using two stamp sets from Mark's Finest Papers, A Heinrich Company. For the butterfly in the background and the daffodil, I using a set called Daffodil Greetings. For the sentiment, I am using Dogwood Blossoms.
Rest of recipe:
Paper-Mark's Finest Paper, A Heinrich Co. -Orangie Sunset, Blue cs is unknown, white cs
Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink-Mustard Seed, Rusty Hinge, Peeled Paint, and Stormy Sky--Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Copics, clear embossing powder, VersaMark, Spellbinders Fancy Tags
Here is the prize to be given to some lucky winner this week. It is the North American Woods stamp set.
Come over to Home of Speedy TV and join this challenge. It's fun to try a new technique and you can choose whichever you please. Then, link up your photo. Maybe you'll be the winner.
