Today starts a new challenge at Friends of Speedy TV (FOSTV) and that is to do paper piercing. Now, that I look at it, maybe I should have done more...maybe some on the green panel. There are no rules about how much you have to do so we hope you'll do some paper piercing and join us this
week.
This is the stamp set that is being given away this week. Hope you'll join us and maybe you will be the lucky winner of Flaps My Wattles.
I'm using two stamp sets from Mark's Finest Papers, A Heinrich Company. My rosebud is from the set called Love Remains and the sentiment came from the set called Flaps My Wattles.
Other items used:
Paper-MFP, A Heinrich Co. - Mossy Sage 100 lb. premium cover cardstock and white cardstock
Marianne Design swirls embossing/cutting folder
Green Pearls
Copics

Wow Benz this is gorgeous. Look at that luscious embossing folder and the gorgeous rose! Just exquisite. Hope you Mother's Day was filled with happiness and love.
This WOW.. I keep repeating myself but you use white superbly.. I end up making it dirty.. I think it's an achievement in itself to finish a card and still have it pristine white...!!
Benzi the yellow green splash on the white is so gorgeous !! No words can adequately describe its beauty!! Never seen anyone work as much magic on white like you!!
Oh my! Truly a lovely white embossed creation with eye popping yellow rose! I love how you are not afraid to use white! I must practice and use white more. Your card is so so lovely! Take care, hugs!!:-))
I love the crispness of your whites...a stunning card!
Beautiful card, Brenda! The flower just pops off the page!
Beautifully done. Love the cut outs in the embossed panel.
Oooh gorgeous card Brenda ... LOVE that colour combo.
Very pretty CAS card, and the piercing looks wonderful just the way you did it. I love the pop of color with that single flower bud! Beautiful!!
I love yellow roses and this bud is beautiful! The embossed background is gorgeous! I'm impressed with your paper piercing. The last time I tried to do that, I made such a mess. Fortunately I was able to cover it up and salvage the card.
That yellow rose bud is perfect, Benzi! This card will certainly cheer up anyone who's ailing :). Hope you had a fabulous Mother's Day!
I love your beautiful card - such a pretty flower and great colors. I so want that chicken set!!! It would come in handy if one of my chickens got sick wouldn't it? LOL! Hugz!!!!
Beautiful the way the rose shows up on the white and the embossing really helps to make it a very classy card my friend :)
I often forget about paper piercing, because it gives a project that extra subtle 'oomph', like yours has. Love the yellow rose!
Gorgeous card. I would love to learn how to do this kind of card.
