I really wanted all the beautiful sparkle to show on this card. I used the Mariposa Stack and that paper is always so pretty. I think most mothers like butterflies and flowers. My Mom used to have a very pretty bird cage and this reminded me of her. I no longer have my Mother but I think she would have loved this card. I have to tell you she had parakeets and I was so scared of them if they got out of the cage. I would always run to my bedroom and close the door until they were back in the cage. I didn't want them to land on me and peck. Actually, just landing on me was terrifying. Why, I don't know. I was a scaredy-cat then and still am. LOL

The loss of a parent is very difficult to get over with but the memories always bring a smile on our faces.. Love the papers used.. the Mariposa collection actually has beautiful designs and till date remains to be one of my favorite sets..great stamp set Benzi.. Thanks so much for sharing!

What a gorgeous collage of pretty elements! The flowers, butterflies, sparkle and soft colors all combine for one fabulous card for Mother's day! TFS the cute story about the parakeet too :)

Gorgeous card Benz! Love the sparkly butterflies and magnolia! I am sure your Mom would have loved this. they are always with us in our hearts. Is zee Fruitcake picking on you? I had a little love bird for years that went everywhere with the kids and I. It was my favorite pet evah.. Birds have personalities, some are fantastic and some are just not so nice...just like people.

What a pretty card! I love the sparkly butterflies and the pretty soft pink magnolia! My mom had a canary and I'm like you, I love to watch the birds and hear them sing, but don't ask me to touch them and heaven help us if one comes toward me!
