Hope you all had a super Father's Day weekend. My husband and I visited with one of our sons over the weekend. The other lives too far away to run for a visit so there was a phone visit with him.
The workers are finishing up in my house today. Hallelujah!!!! A hundred times over. Now, the clean up starts and I don't know where to begin. I suppose I'll start with the floors and work from there. Any volunteers out there to come help me?????? I'll have the cleanest house in town after this because I have to scrub EVERYTHING. If you don't see me for a while, you'll know where I'll be.
I won't have access to my computer today after about 8:00 a.m. I have to leave the house or stay pinned up in a little area near the computer surrounded by furniture from other rooms...NO WAY. I'll be away all day. When I return those guys better be through!!!!!!
The challenge this week at Friends of Speedy TV is Summer. You can do whatever you think is summer-like...beaches, flowers, etc. I'm using a Mark's Finest Papers, A Heinrich Co. stamp set called Black-Eyed Susans for Encouragement and for the sentiment, from the same company, a set called Pussy Willows. I stamped twice, once on dotted paper, cut them out, and popped them on top of the first image.
We hope you'll come over and join us this week. I'm showing the fabulous stamp set that some lucky winner will receive.
Remaining recipe:
Paper: PTI Bitty Dot Basics
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories-EK Success Morocco Lace border punch, orange pearls, Offray yellow/gold grosgrain ribbon

Benz,
Beautiful card! I love how you've popped up the pretty flowers - lovely and elegant. Just a thought, but you might think about hiring some cleaners to come in and get the layers of dust up and then you can go in and finesse the cleaning. It's going to be a much bigger job than you think! Good luck!
I love the crisp beauty of this card! Wonderful idea to paper piece the flower!!!! Love it!
Gorgeous! Love the summer feel that it has ... brilliant colors!
Good-luck coming home this afternoon!

If I lived closer, I'd be more than happy to come help you clean up! I can only imagine the mess you have on your hands. Hopefully you'll get a hand from someone nearby :)

Great Summer card. So bright and sunny, perfect for the theme.
Hooray to seeing the back of workmen, Booo to having to clean! (...and of course I'd come and help - if I could have a play in your craftroom after!)
Gorgeous card, lovin your colour theme and pretty flowers.
love the colors of this.....really catches your attention....pretty design and yet lovely in a CAS layout
Love those Black Eyed Susans paper pieced in those particular colors. Clean and simple at its best! Oh, I didn't intend for that to be a pun, but it sure was (the 'clean' part). I don't envy you all the cleaning that needed to be done. Are you exhausted?
