A Christmas Greeting

The CCEE Stampers challenge this week is to use a tag/tags on your card. I found this tag I bought a while ago and ran it through my crimper. The Christmas tree is a punch (see recipe below) and I added some Liquid Applique and a star remnant from another punch. I did a good bit of distressing on this card and added a ribbon and large sentiment.

We hope you will join us this week for the CCEE1243 challenge. Be sure to go over and check out the super cards from the rest of the CCEE Stampers Design Team.

Recipe:
Stamps-Hot off the Press/Christmas Words (sentiment only)
Paper-Stampin'Up! Crumb Cake and Old Olive, PTI vintage cream, double sided dp (no name)
Ink-Memento Rich Cocoa
Accessories-Liquid Applique, EK Success lg Christmas tree punch, EK Success edger punch/Starry Night, crimper, Natural Burlap ribbon from The Paper Studio

Awesome Christmas card! I love the look of the Liquid Applique on your card! Great use of a tag on a card too!

We opened the new Michaels last night at 5:15 pm. Phew, it was a lot of hard work but very rewarding now that there are customers in there. I'm exhausted today and so far behind in blogging. I haven't been creating in weeks either ... makes me sad! Hope all is well with you!

LOVE the font on that sentiment, Benzi. It's gorgeous. I like the Liquid Applique 'snow' you placed on here, too. Hope we get some real snow this year, to kill whatever pollens/insects it can, so I'm more comfortable breathing next year. Sheesh.

Hope you are well and had a good weekend. We are 'battening down the hatches' right now, getting ready for Sandy later today. Wish us luck!

oooooooo!!! What a country-cute Christmas card, Benzi!! I love that pretty burlap ribbon and the snow-dusted tree. And aren't those polka dots festive?? Adorable!!

Thank you so much for your prayers and concern for us during this storm. We are relieved that it is over for us, no worse for wear. It's heart-breaking to hear about the folks who were horribly affected by the storm. So many have lost so much.
