Bringing Home the Tree

I think this was the hardest card to photograph I've ever worked with. Gee Whiz...I just couldn't get it to look clear.

I am doing a case of this card for the new Queen for the Day on Splitcoaststampers, Gabby aka gabalot.  I need more Christmas cards so that is the route I took. This sweet image was given to me by a friend on SCS, Sue aka coffeestamper. Aren't friends great?

I did my embossing folder on a slant as I was doing a single layer and this made it much easier to use the folder. Plus, I like this look.

Hope you all have a wonderful Fall weekend. Hope you don't have to rake leaves. :-)

Recipe:
Stamps-Hot Off the Press/Christmas Words, I have no name for mouse image
Paper-PTI white cardstock, SU cherry cobbler, MME paper pad
Ink-Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories-Copics, Stampin'Up! Dazzling Diamonds, Cuttlebug embossing folder/Snowflakes

I like the embossing on a tilt! I'm going to try that. Cute little mouse and I know what you mean about the picture. I've got one to post and I never could get it right.

I love the interesting angle that brings a whole new focus to your adorable image! The ribbon and dsp strip really compliment each other beautifully!
Our leaves have all been mulched, and we only have 2 more small piles of twigs/branches left over from Sandy to burn. Now it's time to plan and prep for Thanksgiving! The fun never stops :)

Hallo Benzi,
Deine Karte ist ja wieder so niedlich. Der geprägte Hintergrund ist Fantastisch und das Motiv hast Du wieder ganz toll coloriert.
Ich kenne niemanden der die weißen Karten so schön macht wie Du. Mein Kompliment.
Liebe Grüße aus Germany sendet Dir Carmen

This is so cute and pretty! What a great idea to emboss at an angle. Sure makes it easy to stamp the sentiment plus is visually pleasing.

What a cute little mouse, great idea to emboss on a slant for your sentiment.
No raking leaves for me, our trees are just about bare!

Ooohhh! Cool idea to put the folder on a slant!!! Gorgeous card. Isn't it crazy how sometimes the camera just won't take the picture right? My camera doesn't like it when I use a certain color blue paper!!! Super cute image and colors!
