Hanging Ornament

I've been away for several days as I travelled out of state for Thanksgiving. I've missed checking out all of your cards and am trying to catch up on commenting. Hope you all had a wonderful holiday. Now, I guess it is time to get those Christmas cards made.

My card is made for the Queen for the Day 140 on Splitcoaststampers. I cased this beautiful card of Mrs Noofy aka Sue. I love the ice skates. I didn't have her pretty embossing folders so I got out another one, Sizzix Birds & Wreath set embossing folder. I chalked the leaves.

I don't normally make card without stamping but I have had this gorgeous ornament for a long time and wanted to use it. I am sorry to say I don't know the company that made it. The ornament is a 3D sticker.

I added a snowflake to finish it. Oh, and I ended up tearing the bottom because I stamped a sentiment...CROOKED. I rather like the torn bottom, though.

My card was also made for the November Central Theme on Splitcoaststampers-Hang it All
Totally Stampalicious wants to see snow on your card or project. I do have a snowflake...snowing dark blue, at that. :-)

Paper-SU Night of Navy, PTI white cs
K&CO rhinestone
Flower Soft peel off sticker for gold chain
Martha Stewart snowflake punch

This is gorgeous! I don't think you have to "stamp" on a card to turn out a beautiful end result, and this is the perfect example! So elegant!

Sounds like you had a wonderful time!

Hugs!

What a pretty ornament, Benzi! And I love the torn bottom. I think I stamp the sentiment crooked 4 out of 5 times. So frustrating! Glad you had a good trip and got home safely.

What a beauty, and I have a hard time thinking the ornament is a sticker! It looks like you spent hours creating it! I like the torn panels too :)

This is stunning Benzi. I love how fresh and elegant this card looks. The glittery ornament is awesome. Just to let you know I will be cheering on Alabama and not Georgia. The shock and horror even though I live in GA I don't care for the Bulldogs....my team is the Gator's. An Alabama win is good for my team....lol

Very elegant and stylish...love it, Brenda! Like the torn edge look too. That is the thing about creating cards, you make a mistake and you can turn the paper over or just tear it off!

Have a great day!

Beautiful card Brenda, love the wee touch of chalk on your embossing, and such a gorgeous ornament too!
Isn't it funny how we need to confess our 'mistakes' ... if you hadn't mentioned, I wouldn't have known your torn edge wasn't meant to be like that! :)
