New Beginnings

CCEE1301
We're back at CCEE Stampers with a new year of challenges. We had been on break for a couple weeks and ready to go again. Joanne is the hostess this month and for our first challenge. She asked we start off the year with a baby card.

I guess because I have sons only, I lean toward the boy cards. My card is a little frilly but when it is a newborn baby card, I think that works for boys or girls. I really don't have anyone to send this to at the moment but it will be great to have on hand when the occasion arises. I really need to make more.

Hope you'll find time to join us for the new year and each week afterward.

Recipe:
Stamps-Stampabilities Buggy Boogie
Paper-PTI white cardstock, unknown blue cs, unknown dp
Ink-Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories-Copics, Frances Meyer, Inc baby boy stickers (diaper pin),  The Paper Studio adhesive letters, Martha Stewart Crafts-tags (doily), Martha Stewart ribbon bow punch, pearls, corner rounder

Very cute baby card, Brenda! Love the diecut frame and the little bows! Hope it's nicer up there. It's been cold and dreary here for days! Happy New Year!

Oh, I think frilly definitely works for any newborn, and the blue is lovely to see in among the more girlie cards! What a gorgeous pram image, too.

What a sweet baby card, Benzi! I love the bright blue instead of baby blue and the cutwork is perfect. I know daddies don't like frills for boys, but I think they're lovely for the babies.

Aw, this is sweet, especially that little diaper pin at the bottom! And I like your new tropical background. Boy, I'll say you are prompting that warm weather to come back! Please keep it cold here in NJ though. I like winter!
