Rose is a Rose is a rose is............

I know so many have snow but we are in the rain mode here in Alabama. Go away.....I need sunshine and lots of it, along with some good warm temps. How about you...looking for the same? I bet you are if you aren't in the part of the world with those temps already.

My card is made using the wonderful new stamp set I've ordered from Inspired by Stamping/Flowers Bloom. The sentiment is from the same set as the pretty rose.

I'm entering my card into the challenge at Inspired by Stamping Blog Challenge-IBSIC #45 . The colors to use this week are: off white, light brown, and red.

I colored with Copics and added just a bit of green to the leaves..well, because that is the color leaves are. :-)

On a side note, I was fortunate enough to have this card featured on Inspired by Stamping's Facebook page this past Friday. How grand is that!!!

I'm also using the sketch from Splitcoaststampers sketch challenge #332.

Your rose is absolutely beautiful, Benzi! I love the design used for your card, too. We have had tons of snow and I think tomorrow the rain starts here. Weather is crazy, right?

Beautiful card, Brenda! Great coloring of the rose! We are definitely in rain mode here, too! Along with high winds and lots of lightning and thunder! At least it's not snow or we would have several feet!

Rain is heading our way overnight too, so once it's done with you, it comes to visit us :) Stay dry and warm!

Your colouring of the rose image is beautiful. I live in the southern hemisphere and we just starting to enjoy some milder weather with a drop in temps, lol.

Incidentally, in my region, no rain and no snow, just sunshine all day.

Stunning card, Benzi! I love that gorgeous rose and how you left the leaves with only a touch of off white color. Fabulous flourishes! This may be the 'fanciest' card I've seen from you in a long while, and I'm very impressed! Well done, my friend. I think I "need" that rose set. :-D

That is a pretty rose and you've colored it so beautifully with the shadows and highlights! Love that die cut too! It's so elegant! That rain has made it's way to NC. We did have a pretty weekend though. That's something to be thankful for.
