National Tooth Fairy Day

CCEE1309

I'm just a wee bit excited as the weatherman has forecast snow flurries for Friday night into Saturday morning. Maybe a dusting in some locations. Don't laugh...I can even get excited just seeing a little coming down. Maybe he is wrong and there will be a big snow. Not likely, I'm sure.

For the last two days, there have been lots of robins in my yard. That's a good sign when they come in so many numbers. Spring is on the way. We'll have green grass and lots of leaves on the trees in 6-7 weeks. I can hardly wait.

Frances Byrne is giving her last challenge for the month of February at CCEE Stampers and asked that we celebrate National Tooth Fairy Day. How do we do that?  Of course, make a card with a fairy included. I'm using a fairy image a friend sent to me so I don't don't the name of the image. It is so cute, though.

I see the glitter on the wings isn't showing like I wanted but they are really sparkling. I colored the image with Copics and added some sheer ribbon with sweet flowers. The rose from Inspired by Stamping was colored and cut out. Added a sentiment and I'm all finished.

We hope you'll join us this week at CCEE Stampers and help us celebrate.

I'm entering this card over at Simon Says Stamp Challenge where the challenge this week is Anything Goes.

Recipe:
Stamps-unknown fairy image, Inspired by Stamping/Flowers Bloom (sentiment and rose)
Paper-PTI white cardstock, Jillibean Soup 6x6 mini pad/Blossom Soup, Stampin'Up! Pretty in Pink cardstock
Ink-Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories-Copics, Stampin'Up! Dazzling Diamonds, Quickie glue pen, Ribbon Boutique ribbon

Sweet fairy Benzi! Super coloring, glitter, paper, ribbon, and layout. Fun card all around.

Hope you get to see some snow this weekend and I hope Spring comes even faster than your prediction - LOL! I remember last Summer was so hot, I told myself I would enjoy absolutely every cool day this Fall and Winter but I am already wishing for warmer days.

Lovely card. Hugz!

So, now may not be the best time to tell you that my almond, plum, and apricot trees are in full bloom and weatherman says we'll hit 70 degrees tomorrow. No? OK, I'll just comment on your adorable card, then. :-D Love the way you colored her, especially her hair. Fabulous rose. I didn't even know there WAS a National Tooth Fairy Day!

How sweet and beautifully colored! Love that little rose in the corner! Imagine that! The tooth fairy has her own day. Hope you see some snow. I saw Robins this morning. Soon the Juncos will be gone and Spring will be here.

I didn't know there was a national tooth fairy day! This sweet image is perfect for the celebration :-). I hope that you have some exciting snow flurries, Benzi. I always love watching it snow, even when there are 2 feet of it already on the ground. Then once the storm is over, I am ready for it all to melt LOL!

Well happy tooth fairy day my friend! Who knew? LOL
This is so spring-like and I love that pretty blue polka dot dsp! Hurry up spring! You can send some of those robins up north here, but maybe you should wait another week! There's another possible S_ _ _ storm that may make it here by the middle of next week. {groan}

Oh Benz, you used this adorable image. I love the brightness and cheefulness of this cute little winking fairy. I used that image too awhile back, but yours is brighter and more cheery. LOVE it!

Those bright airy, light colours are just so perfect for your little fairy girl. I hope you got your snow! Hard to imagine flocks of robins for me - European robins are fiercely territorial and even the fact that we have two males who just about tolerate each other is pretty rare! I'd love to see your flock.

I you want some snow, I'll gladly send some your way. ;) It was snowing all the time last week. Lots of snow is already gone now, because we've been lucky and we got some sun, but there's still some and you can get it if you want. :P
Your card is very nice. I especially like the glitters you used on fairy's wings. Oh, and that blue paper is fab too.
Hugs! xx

Hi Benzi,

cute cute card!!!! Love the rose in the corner!

Did you get snow? We received a very very light dusting. I didn't know we were supposed to get any. Funny thing...it's the coldest it's been in awhile, just when my in-laws came down from MN and are looking for milder temps!
