Because..............

Holy Moly, I spent the day on this card. I first started trying to use a certain sketch and took so much time with it. Shame on me because in the end I didn't like it one bit and had to start over in a completely different direction. Guess what else...I have taken sooooooooo many photos. Every time I got one I liked, I would see a speck of glitter somewhere on the card. I should have just given up. LOL

I am just thinking how clean my craft room was when I started and now it is completely wrecked.

I made my card for the Inspired By Stamping challenge--IBSIC#48. I have fallen in love with their stamps and use them quite often.  My sentiment is from IBS and is called Flowers Bloom.

This is my inspiration photo. What a wonderful sight. I was inspired by the colors and pretty flowers.

The fern die is a Spellbinders Shapeabilities Foliage set and the window which I am just using as  lattice is from Cheery Lynn Designs/A2 Frame die small.

My paper is PTI white cardstock and Stampin'Up Pretty in Pink and Sage Shadow. I'm thinking the green isn't right but mine had the name sage in it so I went with it.   The patterned paper is an unknown scrap. I wish my pink was lighter but I ruined the only light piece I had with the first attempt. Ugh!  My flower is a Prima and I'm  thinking looking a bit large. One of those days!!! You know you've had them.  Right??  :-)

My card is also entered into The  Crafty Bloggers Network Challenge Blog-#9 where the theme is Spring or Pastel.

It must be something in the air today, because I spent hours on a card that is STILL unfinished! LOL I just couldn't make it work, but your final proof for your efforts is this pretty card! I was playing with the same dies today too, how funny is that? LOL
I really like the lattice background for this, and the flower looks very pretty with the glittered edges! Hang in there my friend, I think we'll get through this eventually :)

This doesn't look like you had any problems! It's gorgeous! I know what you mean though. I have a lot of days like that! Fortunately not enough to discourage me for long.

Way to persevere. Know those types of cards and they are soooo frustrating!! Love the leaves (good reminder to use that set as it hasn't seen light in a long time). Great lattice too!

Beautiful card, well worth all your effort to make and photograph it. I could really relate to your post...Most of my cards take forever to make, I think I've only made one 10 minute card in my life...
and we won't talk about the crafting mess...Hope you have a good day.

Thought I would pop in and say hello. I have been busy with musical theatre but was thinking about you. Love the lattice! The paper behind it is gorgeous! Worth the time you put in! Creative mess is okay.....don't tell me any different because my room is a really big creative disaster!!

Oh, for SURE I've had those kinda days, Benzi! I know it was a lot of trouble, but I love how this turned out. That lattice looks super!

Benz, I'm playing the catch up game again. I LOVE your beautiful card. Your diecuts are stunning and love the dp peeking out of the window frame. Beautiful flower and leaves add a wonderful touch. Great job!
