CCEE Stampers Color Challenge

CCEE1312

My mojo has left me and I'm afraid I'm disappointed in my card this week. Several times, I wanted to make another one or re-work this one, but here it is.  Seems as if  when I make a card far ahead of time, I look at it until I don't like it one bit. Guess I should put it away when finished and not look at it until time to post.

Charlene Merrick gave a pretty color challenge this week: Use Pink Pirouette, Rose Red, River Rock, Soft Suede, and Very Vanilla. I had to substitute a couple of those.  I'm using a sketch from Splitcoaststampers SC425.

I hope you'll come over to the CCEE Stampers and check out the rest of the team's awesome cards. Then, we hope you'll play along with our color challenge.

Recipe:
Stamps-Inspired by Stamping/Cute Circles, Dots are Stamps by Judith, Stampendous/Dream Text
Paper- Stampin'Up! Pretty in Pink,  Rose Red, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, and Very Vanilla, dp is unknown
Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa
Accessories- Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder

Your mojo would NEVER leave you, Brenda. I like your card...good use of the colors and a great layout!

Bright, cheerful, and pretty Benzi. I like the colors and sketch on this and it looks very celebratory. I feel the same way when I make a card ahead of time - you get kind of tired of it and it gives you more time to think about things you might have done different. This looks different and fun - a great card so you shouldn't think about it again. Hugz!

I think this turned out quite pretty, but I understand how you feel when your mojo has vanished! Fear not, I still see plenty of great mojo working on this card! I love the sentiment panel and great design!

Very pretty and a great job with the color challenge. My mojo is missing, too. Wonder where they go? :)

I think it's pretty Brenda! You're being too hard on yourself. Anyone would be happy to receive this pretty card! I know all about loss of mojo.

Oh! I like your card! I love the "celebrate" panel and the pretty "just for you". You created a gorgeous card!

you used the colors beautifully.....and your card is just fine....but I do understand what you are saying and my advice is to do what you suggested....after creating it, schedule your post and then move on....as 'artists' we always see room for improvement or change if we keep looking at our work.....so enjoy the creation and then let it go......easier said than done, I know...lol

I do not think it made you leave your Mojo Benzi. Your card is beautifully designed and very creative with the beautiful papers.
I also sometimes not like my card, but others favorited them already.

Wish you a nice weekend-Carmen

We've all been there and felt like that Brenda. Lawd, I look at some of my older cards and just cringe. LOL! Yours turned out beautiful! Love the layout.

I think you've put these colors together beautifully! When I looked at the sketch all I saw was lots of layers and it scared me away. You've shown me that I don't need to shy away. This is wonderful! I like it even if you don't.

I love your combination of colors, the little "celebrate" definition and your circular sentiment Benz!

Love those papers, Benzi! I don't know why you're disappointed -- I love the simple design and "Celebrate" text. It's terrific!

What's not to like, Brenda! I think you've made a very stylish and modern looking card and I'd certainly be happy with it. Great choice of paper for the bottom layer

Fabulous card Brenda, lovin your colour combo!
I quite often find that if I look at a card too long, I just see the faults in it, so you're definitely not on your own there! Hope your mojo's back soon :(
