In the Kitchen

CCEE1317

Kathy Bradley is bringing us her last challenge for the month of April at CCEE Stampers. The theme is In the Kitchen. Make a card using food, appliances, a whole kitchen scene, utensils-anything that can be found in the kitchen.

I have a Spellbinders Exclusive Dies Collection for Our Daily Bread Designs Apron and Tools die that I'm using for this challenge. I think it is so cute and includes the apron and utensils. I punched holes to run the ribbon through. I've also added a recipe inside. If you would like, here it is:

 Chocolate Chip Pound Cake

1 box yellow cake mix
1 box 4 1/4 oz. Instant Chocolate Pudding
8 oz. sour cream
1 cup oil
4 eggs
1/4 cup water
6 oz. chocolate chips

Mix dry ingredients-cut in sour cream
Beat eggs-add oil and water
Mix liquid and dry ingredients
Add chocolate chips

Pour into greased and floured tube or bundt pan
Bake at 325 1 hour to 1 1/4 hours

I don't think I've tried this recipe and don't know where I got it. But, it sounds good. If you try it, give me a report. I believe there are some different recipes out there for this cake.

We hope you'll come over to the CCEE Stampers challenge and play along with us. Just add your card with the inlinkz tool.

My card is entered into the Simon Says Stamp blog challenge-Anything Goes

I was just on Facebook and saw where Lydia had put this on the SCS page! It's darling! Love the colors and would love an apron just like it. (Only it would have to be much bigger!)

Get OUT!!! That apron with super-cute utensils tucked in that enviable front pocket is out of this world!! That is a totally fun way to pass along a requested recipe. And that looks like a yummy one, too! I'll have to try it the next time we need a cake (not now--we just finished all of the Easter candy and I baked red velvet white chocolate chip cookies today). Oh, did I tell you that I made your patented peanut butter fudge recipe last week? It's all gone already, too! My daughter likes to take extra pieces in her lunch to share with lunch buddies at school ;)

What a sweet little apron, the red ribbon is just perfect and love the utensils pocket too! Yummy sounding cake too!

This is SO cute! I like the little utensils in the apron's pocket. You could use that spoon die and line up, say, 5 of them in a row on a patterned paper 'tray' and use it as a hostess thank you card.
