Dryer Sheet Flower Challenge

CCEE1326

I'm back for the last week of June challenges at CCEE Stampers. I am giving the challenge this week to use a dryer sheet flower on your card. If you need help making this flower, go here on Splitcoaststampers for the tutorial by Emily Keaton. It is a really fun flower to make so save those used dryer sheets.

After forming my flower with Spellbinders Blossom dies, I sprayed with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist and added Stickles to the edges. My flower is rather big but I tend to like it.
When dry, I punched holes for the brad to fit and added to the card.

I'm using a sketch from Splitcoaststampers SC439 for my card.

We hope you'll join us for this last week of the month, make a pretty dryer sheet flower, and link up at CCEE Stampers using the inlinkz tool.

I've decide to step down from the Design Team at CCEE Stampers. I'm so glad to have had the opportunity to join this wonderful, talented team since Jan., 2012  but life has been a bit hectic lately and I need some time for just whatever comes along for a while. I'll certainly miss the team but I'm sure I'll be seeing them in different places with their great creations.

Hi Benzi,
I love your flower...I made some of these once but mine did not have that added glitter...I love that it kinda brightens the flower up some. Lovely card as usual...Looks like we are in for some thunderstorms today...Hugz, joann

Oh, so very pretty! Love the bird theme! We are blessed with so many birds around our yard. It's so fun watching them! And, I know you love birds, too!:-) The flower is gorgeous!!! Never would have guessed it's from a dryer sheet, so pretty! I hope things improve for you soon. I'll be keeping you and family in thought and prayer. Take care, hugs!

It seems as if you challenged most of us with this one, what with dryer sheets and colour mists being in short supply, but everybody certainly came up trumps. Thanks for pushing me to try this again - after my first one and not liking the smell, I wouldn't have thought about what I could use to improvise without your challenge.
Your layout is perfect for displaying the flower. I can't believe how many of us chose blue!!!

That's a shame you have to step down, but we all need to prioritize now and again. I hope you'll continue to make pretty cards like this one however! That blue flower is just gorgeous!!
