Scarecrow

I haven't made a card in several days because I've been organizing my embossing folders and just lazing around. I was in the mood to get a card made today so I got out my new scarecrow die.

The challenge at Joan's Gardens this week is:
Use ginghams, checks, or plaids
Butterflies
Something Fallish..pumpkins, scarecrows, leaves, etc.
Use a product from Joan's Gardens-Mine is the sentiment from Elizabeth Craft Designs/Happy Birthday #717
I used a bit of Tim Holtz Distress Ink/Walnut Stain on my raffia.

The Simon Says Wednesday Challenge is Anything Goes

Another fun challenge I'm joining in with my card is Pixie's Crafty Snippets Playground #87 Of course, I have snippets. See that butterfly....a snippet...also the sentiment.

I'm joining the Seize the Birthday challenge with this card. My first time there but sure it won't be my last for this fun challenge.

Hope I get back to the craft table in a day or two...we'll see.

What a great scarecrow! I love the bundle of raffia! I still remember your wonderful pumpkin card from last year and plan to try to do that for our Papercrafting get together in October.

What a delightful die, and I love how you have used him here. Such a cheery little face he has, and I like gingham & distressed raffia. And you KNOW I love those Elizabeth Craft dies..this one is probably my favorite & most used! Great card, and you're doing what I should do...organize the EF's. Got 'em everywhere...and then can never find the exact one that I think I have! Cropstop has a good 1/2 price sale going on right now on Craft Coutour EF's.

Love this, Benzi! What a fab fall card. Terrific die set, too. I'll have to look into that one -- I just love scarecrows. Almost as much as snowmen. :-D
