The Great Outdoors

I've made a bunch of cards this week, four to be exact....that I've uploaded. This one is for the Queen for the Day on Splitcoaststampers. The queen is Sharon aka shendrian and this is the card I cased. She used wrapping paper on her card and it reminded me of this border tape that I bought from Hobby Lobby a few years ago. I think it was before Washi tape even became trendy.

This made such a quick and easy card and that's what I want with a masculine card. Placing my border stickers on the diagonal was easy, lapping over the edge and snipping off any extra.

My sentiment is from Inspired by Stamping/Guy Sentiments. I'll link my card to the  January Inspired by Stamping Customer Gallery.

I believe this is it for me this week. I'm sure hoping it warms up for everyone.

Recipe:

Paper-PTI white cardstock, Stampin'Up! Chocolate Chip cardstock
Ink-Memento Rich Cocoa
Accessories-Self adhesive borders stickers/Camping--Bought from Hobby Lobby

You and I seem to be in masculine card mode today :) This has all those great images a guy would like and I love the diagonal tilt to the design! Warm?! Did you say warm?! Hah! We're getting dumped on with a couple more inches of white stuff tomorrow and along with it will come more of those bitter cold temperatures next week again! Thanks for the warm thoughts anyway :)

A perfect masculine card, Brenda! Love that washi tape! And, I like that sentiment, too! Stay warm! It's snowing here again, but it has warmed up to 23. Didn't think I'd be happy saying that, but it's better than 0...lol!

Cool use of your 'washi' tape and so perfect for a masculine card. The one time I tried to do the diagonal I made an utter mess! This is really graet, and loved the colors of tape - they all go together so well too. You have been a busy lady to get 4 cards done! (I have 4 in progress..can I count that?!) Burned the microwave last evening by letting something cook too long, while I got on the pc, made a nasty smell which we can't seem to eradicate from the house, and so today was cleanup, buying a new microwave! None of my to-do got done last evening or today! And it's still cold! TFS & Hugs.

Hello to the Mercedes of bloggers! What a DARLING card, so so unusual with things on the diagonal like that - GREAT idea, Benzi, one which I want to copy, so am pinning it. Thanks for your sweet comment on my blog today. Brenda, So sorry I have not been able to visit your blog regularly this month - the bingo game is taking all my time and energy - and will until it is completed.
