Text Love

Hmmmmm.....just couldn't decide whether I wanted to upload this card or not. It is one of those cards you aren't sure about. But, here it is.

My card was a case of a card by sistersandie and this is her absolutely gorgeous card. Sandie was the Queen for the Day on Splitcoaststampers last Friday.

The text background is Stampendous Dream Text...see the meaning of love? I stamped some hearts from my PTI Heart Prints stamp set and used the Stampabilities Written I Love You sentiment. Tied a ribbon and added a button.

The ink is Stampin'Up! Bermuda Bay and Memento Tuxedo Black. The ribbon is SU Bermuda Bay. I added a bit of Carribean twine from The Twinery.

I'm glad you decided to post it, because it's a wonderful card with a fresh new idea for using text dsp! I pulled a sheet of that out just yesterday and never did make anything with it, but I may have to case this clever idea now :)TFS

Definitely glad you uploaded it. It's beautiful. The pop of the turquoise against that print background is very striking. Also saw the inspiration card, which is truly lovely as well. Yours has a stronger feel, while the inspiration one is more feminine (IMHO). This would be a really good one for a masculine card, but also very effective for a lady as well. I LOVE it! TFS & Hugs

Oh, my goodness, Brenda, aren't you the funny one? I took one look at this and gasped and then read that you aren't that keen on it! Of course, the color is dynamite and I have a love of all things textural, so your design with the heart stamping and the bow ... mwah! I'm pinning it, I like it so much; thank heaven you didn't decide not to post it! Enjoy the weekend!! Hugs, Darnell
