Flower Power

I'm doing the CAS259 challenge on Splitcoaststampers today. The challenge is stair step.

After stamping the flower, I  hand cut a stem from cardstock and stamped dots for leaves. My colors for the card are black, PTI white,  and Stampin'Up! Bermuda Bay. I added an enamel dot from My Mind's Eye.

The stamps are Art Warehouse/Phresh & Sassy, JustRite/Just the Right Words, and Stamps by Judith/dots. My sentiments are from a sweet friend, a large sheet of them. Thanks, EL.

You pick THE best color combos. I really love that nifty flower and the stairstepped sentiment is so eye-catching. Some of this is your shopping stash, yes? Hope Alabam does ok weatherwise. We are getting drizzles, being told it will be icy later tonight. We should be able to stay inside, keep some power on with the generator if power lines go down, so I hope the rest of our area can fare ok too. Ya'll stay warm. TFS such a cute bright cheery card! Hugs

Oh I like the way you made your "leaves" Benzi. That sentiment is terrific for a great friend or a spouse or even a child. I like it when you can utilize a sentiment for anyone special. Enjoy your evening.

You go girl! I hope you get a seat on the DT. This black and white flower is fun. It almost reminds me of your beloved houndstooth. :)

Hey Brenda, how refreshing your card is. Love the wonderful colors and those enamel dots you use are wonderful. Looks like our snow is gone at least over here across the river. Now I guess it's just ice. But my bday is tomorrow and I plan to enjoy it with my boys no matter ice or snow...lol Hugz, joann
