Vegetable Garden

I've been invited to be Guest Designer for April with the girls at Crazy4Challenges. Thanks for the invite.  I'm sure I'll enjoy playing along and seeing all the creations from the talented team.

This week, Joanne Grzelak gave the challenge, C4C230. She wants us to start thinking about vegetable gardening. This could include vegetables, gardening tools, seed packets, as well as vegetable plants or gardens.

I used Flourishes Garden Fresh set for my vegetable plants. It is colored with Copics.  I've added a handmade strip under my sentiment and a few dots just for some interest at the top corner. A button finished it off.

Recipe:
Stamps-Flourishes Garden Fresh set, Stamps by Judith/dots
Paper-PTI white and kraft cardstock, The Paper Studio/lime green gingham
Ink-Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories- Button from Sew-ology, silver brad, hemp, Copics

Great card Benzi. Only problem is the veggies are done so well that now I'm hungry. That button looks like the top of a pepper. Love peppers. Now I'm drooling. LOL

A beautiful colored card with wonderful veggies! One of my favs is fresh peas from the garden! There is nothing like fresh veggies! We have a couple great farm markets near here. In a couple months I'll be there!:-)
Have a great weekend, hugs!

What beautiful vegetables! I can't wait to get some that are really fresh although we don't grow our own anymore. I'm thankful for farm stands! Hope you're able to get out in your gardens this weekend.

Loving this card! Hubby and I actually went today and bought some veggies to plant in our garden. Just have to wait for the warmer temps ... again.

You've been busy making some beautiful cards this past week. Adore your heart card ... so classy! I was in Gatlinburg with my daughter last week so didn't do any blog hopping. Had a great week of mother/daughter activities.

The colors on this are soooooo vivid and pretty! So what is in your garden? We haven't had one in a long time, but my parents (next door) have everything. They are almost 80 and put us to shame with their energy. Super card. Hugz!

Great set of stamps, and I love the way you've colored them. Just yummy. What a perfect button to look like the top of a celery stalk , and your handmade paper strip is an inspired detail drawing the eye inward. Can't wait for these fresh summer veggies now. TFS & Hugs
