A Day for a Sail

I hope your weekend included nicer weather than mine. It was nothing but clouds, rain, and cool weather until yesterday around 4:00 p.m. when the sun decided to shine. But, this week promises to be warmer and full of sunshine. I am so glad.

It's Monday and that means it is time for the CAS challenge on Splitcoaststampers. It is CAS #273 and the theme is water. I have a bit of water but just pretend that is an ocean full. :-) I love pretty, colorful sailboats so that is what I decided to use. It is colored with Copics and I just added some banners with the sentiment.

You probably think CAS cards are just about all I make, but not true. I am very busy with other kinds that just don't get on my blog and won't for a while. They are my cards for the Splitcoaststampers Dirty Dozen. I may share some of those at a later date. I have so many.

Recipe:
Stamp-Sailboat image is unknown, Mark's Finest Papers and Stamps/Silly Shell set (sentiment)
Paper-PTI white cardstock, green scraps, unknown blue cardstock
Ink-Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories-twine, Fiskars scalloped banner punch, Copics/B000, B21, B24, C1, C5, G14, R39, Y28

Gorgeous CAS design, Brenda! Love the color combo and sailboats! The banner is perfect! We finally got sun, too, but all in all, a dreary weekend, for sure!

Oh pretty sailboats.Beautiful coloring and I can see the entire ocean surrounding your boats. LOL CAS is my favorite so I am always pleased when you make one of those cards. Sorry abut your weekend weather, but I do hope it improves quickly for you. We had a decent weekend but we are expecting a lot of rain this upcoming week. Enjoy today.

Oh this is so serene and beautiful - what a vision you've created with this beautiful sailboat! I have a similar card going up tomorrow though nowhere near as striking as yours! :)

Hi, Benzi! I have dearly missed you! Your boating adventure here is a beautiful CAS card. Somehow, you are gifted with creating CAS but they are classy, beautiful, colorful, with great conveyance of sentiment/feeling. Here I can feel myself gentling down, relaxing, feeling the fresh air as the breeze flows through my hair and kisses my face. Wonderful colors! I have missed you so much. My finger tips are slowly becoming less painful, so I am trying to type a little bit more each day without triggering the symptoms again LOL huggers, de

This is sensational! It is designed and executed with precision and I love it!! I know CAS is not the only style you do, Barb, although I do love it when you make them! You have an amazing range when it comes to styles! Have a great week! Hugs, Darnell

Hallo liebe Benzi,

Wonderful blue and green combo, Benzi, and I love the sailboats! You and Lynn have both been in a nautical CAS mindset, haven't you? I love the CAS designs that the two of you do. I think you gals may be the absolute best at CAS!

So handsome, and a great masculine summertime card.

Clean and simple is easiest when you have other, more intricate designs going on at the same time.

Have a great holiday weekend, Benzi.

I'm enjoying your bright CAS cards. I guess I don't think "CAS" when I see them, because of the designs & colors that you use. I have to say I am definitely not tired of seeing these..you do them so well. This one reminds me of watching the sailboats in Fla and feeling the nice cool breezes. A fab guy card too. Can't wait until you can share the other cards too. Always love your fabulous work. TFS
