Geranium CAS and Info

Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend. Hubby and I had a great time visiting with our family and hated to see them leave.

This is my last card for the Splitcoaststampers CAS DT. It is challenge#274 and I gave the challenge for May Flowers.  It was a fun time being on the team and I have a new love for CAS cards. I used a geranium from Sparkle N Sprinkle. My card was so simple. I just cut out two ovals and placed one on top of the other in an offset style. The geranium stem and flowers are colored with Copics. I hand cut the geranium and popped it on the top oval.

I have decided I must have a break. My sister and I are going to Atlanta this week to a couple of  scrapbook stores. Actually, they are outside Atlanta in Roswell and Marietta, GA. She has been there and said they are super. Can't wait. Then, I have some other things I need to get done so I'll be away from my blog after this post for a short while. I'm sure I'll miss everyone but you know how hectic things get.

Recipe:
Stamps-Sparkle N Sprinkle/Geraniums, Inspired by Stamping/Flowers Bloom (sentiment)
Paper-PTI white cardstock, unknown gingham
Ink-Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories-Copics/G21, G24, R20, R32

Oh, Benzi, those geraniums are colored perfectly! They exactly match the ones I have growing on my back patio. I love the way you did the offset die cut behind the image and the green gingham is marvelous. I can't believe your term with SCS is already over. Seems like it just began a couple of weeks ago. :-D I'm off for travels starting tomorrow and may be MIA from visits for a couple of weeks.

so glad to hear you were going on a LSS adventure with your sister....I am envious as neither my sister nor any of my very close friends are into stamping......that is why I find such joy in the SCS community...take your time and get things done, including some relaxing....hugs, Joanne

Benzi-I just love the way you did the die cuts on this card. What a sweet design feature. You have created a beauty here. Hope your trip to Atlanta is fabulous. My Mother asked me to come home so I will be going in a couple weeks. She is not doing well at all.

Oh, Oh, Oh, I think I have the SnS geranium set, so must see if this stamp is part of that set. Lovely coloring - so pretty and I'm loving the offset gingham scallop oval behind the focal point. So very effective. Liked the way you've added the dropped corner sentiment too. Great card. TFS & Hugs
