Hollyhocks by the Fence

I made a card today for the DirtySpiesJuly14 challenge on Splitcoaststampers. To enter, you should find a birthday/party card from a Dirty Dozen, current or past. This is the card I cased:  http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/2165342?&si=MakiJ  Her card is beautiful.

I'm using a new hollyhock die, a new fence die, and a grass punch. I stamped clouds in the background. The gingham ribbon is threaded through the die.

I made my card as a side opener which I don't really like to make. But, I was trying to accomodate the tall hollyhocks. I did finally cut some of them off, though.

Recipe:
Stamps-Sweet 'n Sassy/Poppies & Greetings, Stampscapes clouds (cumulus)
Paper-PTI white cs, Stampin'Up! old olive
Ink- Memento Tuxedo Black and Bamboo Leaves, VersaMagic Aegean Blue
Accessories-Impression Obsession die/hollyhock, Impression Obsession die/lg fence, Martha Stewart edge punch/grass, Spellbinder Lattice Rectangle and circle die, Copics, red and white gingham ribbon, Copics

Liebe Brenda,

Of all of the flowers, hollyhock and morning glories are my oldest favorites. A fun summer card that brings back fond memories. Beautifully done.

Ooo, what wonderful new dies, Benzi! Great use of them, too. They wouldn't be much good without a wonderfully creative person to put them all together and you've done it masterfully. :-D
