Cut Out Panel

I wanted to try Maile Bailes Papertrey Ink design team tip for the week. It is cut out panels and can be found here.  It really isn't hard to do when you find just the right stamp. I just happened to have a large butterfly which worked really well. It is stamped on white cardstock and the butterfly is cut out only on the inside panel so you can use dp, glitter, or just emboss in the cut out section. The rest of the butterfly is only stamped.

The back panel is done with Elizabeth Craft double sided adhesive and silk microfine glitter.

Recipe-
Stamps-Close to my Heart/Butterfly Wings
Paper-PTI white cardstock
Ink-SU Bermuda Bay
Accessories-Elizabeth Craft double-sided adhesive paper, Elizabeth Craft silk microfine glitter/Peony Pink, Teal, Spring Peridot, Lavender, Desert Gold

I'm entering this card to the Addicted to Stamps challenge #109-CAS

Beautiful card, Brenda! I love how the technique turned out! Is it hot enough for you? We had thunderstorms today and it has finally dropped a couple of degrees, but the rain really amped up the humidity. Yuck!

Hey, BenBen! WOW! WOW! and more WOWOW! I love that look of the split panels and your cut out butterfly. The card is incredible! Your style is so clean, and yet always wow's me with the techniques utilized. May I come over and play so you can teach me? Seriously, I love your cards, and want to learn to do these styles, too! For a CAS card, this has a remarkably sparkly and dimensional appearance! hugs, de

Terrific job on this! I saw Maile's card and thought it was an eye-catcher, too. I see you have bought the Elizabeth Crafts glitters and adhesive. I just watched Jennifer McGuire's video the other day, where she mentions these products.
