On the Beach

Friday has finally arrived and I'm happy to see it. I know I'm posting a lot of cards. As I've told you, the Dare to Get Dirty challenges for Fan Club members is going on over on Splitcoaststampers and I've made a lot of cards. I made this card for the challenge I gave. We're supposed to be a tease and not give away what the challenges are so I'll just give the recipe of what items I've used.

Recipe:
Stamps-Make an Impression/palm tree, umbrella, beach chair, Studio 112/Relax lighthouse set (sailboat), Inkadinkado/Coastal Maritime set (sun ), A muse Artstamps/clouds?

Paper- PTI white cardstock, SU Old Olive and Bermuda Bay cs, unknown dp for sand
Ink- Memento/Rich Cocoa and Gray Flannel, SU Tempting Turquoise, Not Quite Navy, and Cherry Cobbler
Accessories- SU Dazzling Diamonds, MS fine tip glue pen, Punch Bunch punches 14 and 30 fern punch for palm tree leaves, Copics, Taylored Expressions/Build a Scene-Rolling Hills

A wonderful beach scene - and I wish I was there right now! As long as it's not overly hot.

A beautiful scene. One can hear the waves rolling and the little boat in the distance is a lovely touch.

ohhh, that palm tree is so clever in the way you created it! The beach scene is really dreamy! I'm picturing myself in that chair in spite of the beautiful day we're having :)

Another wonderfully designed beach scene. Loved the palm fronds the way you have done them, and the little sailboat out in the water adds so much realism. Great shaping on the sand dunes & I wish I were in the beach chair under the striped umbrella. You even added in tiny coconuts! Splendid. TFS & Hugs. Off to see the other posts you have.

Fun beach scene - wish I was there! Great texture and fun feel. I tried to keep up with the DTG challenges but ran out of steam after the 7 or 8th card. I am going to try to pick them up this weekend - especially yours. Hugz!

You can never make too many cards as far as I'm concerned, Brenda! This is outrageous! Easily the best beach scene card I've ever seen!! Hugs, Darnell

busy busy lady! Love your recent cards - this looks great with the layers of palm fronds, and the pretty beachy scene. LOVE your red floral card on Aug 1 - very interesting combination of layers to make the flowers stand out! and your rooster card is bright and sunny indeed! Amazing Camelia card. It is likely supposed to be a rose, but it looks like our multi-petal camelias here - at any rate, all the cards are amazing and so unique. You have outdone yourself! hugs, de
