Poppies and Dots

I am having a really hard time keeping up with all that I'm doing. But, I did have time to play in the Ways to Use it challenge on Splitcoaststampers last week. The challenge was to use dots. They could be made by drawing, using patterned paper, or an image of dots. I chose the paper .

I hand made the  poppies with an orchid petal multi punch by Punch Bunch. Yes, that is odd to make a poppy with an orchid petal punch but that is how it is done. The top layer behind the poppies is a Make an Impression Poppy punch-in stamp. It's another one of my Atlanta purchases. I also used used a McGill starburst punch for the flower center.

I colored the poppies and leaves with Copics, used PTI Bitty Dot Basics dp and DIY Shop notch banner/American Crafts. I added the black and white twine and was finished.

Have a great weekend.

I first saw this card at Split Coast, I believe I commented on it there...at least I hope I remembered to commet there...smile. This card is so pretty it is worth a second look. I like how you punched those flowers and with an orchid punch. How creative! That's one thing I like about punches...so much you can do with them (If you know how) and you sure do...
