Rose Vine
I decided to do a watercolored piece today. The color challenge, CC493, on Splitcoaststampers is to use Stampin'Up!'s Old Olive, Calypso Coral, and Lost Lagoon. I didn't have any of those colors but they don't mind if you just come close as you can. I did use SU Cameo Coral for the base card.
My image is a digital from Fitztown called Valentine 2. I didn't make a valentine but it sure would make a pretty one. It could also be a pretty anniversary card. The sentiment is from Inspired by Stamping/Big Wishes II.
I used watercolor paper, a brush, water, and markers to color.

Gorgeous frame for the sentiment.
ove the soft watercolour look, Brenda, and that sentiment matches your lovely rose frame perfectly.
The coloring is off the charts for this card. The rose stem and leaves are vintage perfection. What better way to frame the sentiment! - Jim

Wunderschön ist die Karte. Der Rahmen mit den Rosen darin gefällt mir sehr gut, Brenda. Die Aquarellfarben haben einen schönen Verlauf.

So pretty Benzi I like the frame image you used -I think this would be a great wedding card as well
Of course I love the image, surprised that it was a digi too. Very pretty. Your w/coloring is so beautiful, and the shading you've done is awesome. Love the soft pastel colors. Yes it would make a terrific valentine card, but it's equally stunning this way. TFS & Hugs

This is stunning. Just love that rose frame. Wanted to say thank you so much for sticking with me on my blog. Just know that I appreciate your friendship. Don't think that I have forgotten about you. I think of you often. There are just times I cannot think to function because I am so stressed. I hadn't slept in 3-1/2 months a full night. I will explain later. I thank you so much for being my friend!
Bear Hugs,
Carol
