Snowman With Red Polka Dots
Today's Splitcoaststampers Inspiration challenge/IC467 is to use inspiration from the website, Harry and David. I found this wonderful photo. Isn't that yummy looking. Actually, it was the snowmen that inspired me, though I could certainly eat those wonderful looking chocolate dipped strawberries.
I had also found this card I wanted to case. I found it on Pinterest and traced it back to Splitcoaststampers. I just love it. Mine is a little more simple than hers but I still like it.
My snowman head was cut with a Spellbinders circle nestabilitie and then trimmed off about 1/4 at the bottom. It was then placed under the ribbon.
I hand cut the nose, embossed, and added some glitter.
I made three of these for my grandchildren in different colors, twines, and ribbons. I hope they love them.
Recipe:

Paper-Stampin'Up! Crumb Cake cardstock, PTI white cardstock
Ink-Memento Rich Cocoa
Accessories-Red Polka dot grosgrain ribbon, silver metallic twine, star button, small black buttons for eyes, Cuttlebug embossing folder/scalloped edge, Spellbinders circle nestabilitie

Today at lunch, I took a walk, but it's about 32 degrees outside. My face got numb, so I had to come back in! felt like a snowman myself. :)
Wieder so ein niedlicher Schneemann. Schneemänner sind die lustigsten Motive für eine Winterkarte. Deine Idee ihn über das Band sehen zu lassen, ist super, Brenda.
Liebe Grüße, Anja
Brenda this is super cute. I am sure your grandchildren will adore their cards. What a great game with the Tide although they did give me a scare a time or two....lol Hugs, joann
