Sing it Loud and Clear

I've finally returned to my blog after more than a month. I have been gone much longer than I expected to be. My husband was on a three week vacation and we both got sick the last week. I was sure I had the flu, but didn't. Then, we were in a head on collision while sitting at a traffic light. Yes, that was strange. The young man that hit us left the scene. Hmmmmm...  Someone followed him and got the tag number, thankfully. He knocked us into the van behind us. The only injury was a scraped knee I had. I guess it hit the dash board. Thank goodness for seat belts. My youngest son and his family didn't get here for Christmas (first time ever) so they came last week and we all exchanged gifts. They left Monday. So, that is what has been going on in my life.

I have made some cards for Splitcoaststampers while I've been away. I'll try to post them later. This is one I made this week for CAS309. The challenge was snowmen. Well, you know I had to get in on that one, being a snowman lover.

I'm entering my card into the challenge#143 at Merry Monday.  The theme is Caroller's Music.
My card was made using a digital image from Sprinkle N Sparkle/Singing Trio and the sentiment is from Prickley Pear/Fa La La La. Silver twine was added and the sentiment tag connected.

I have a Spellbinders die/Garden Weave I would like to give away to one of my faithful readers. If you leave a comment, you're in the drawing. I will choose a winner next Monday, Feb 2.-Groundhog Day.

There you are! I have been hoping all is well and that you were just busy with the grands :) I'm sorry to hear ya'll were sick, my friend and pray that the rest of the month/year ahead are healthy and happy!

Your card is darling! Nothing cuter than a trio of singers making a joyful noise, unless of course they are snowmen! :) Beautifully done! ♥

Happy to see you're back, Brenda, safe and sound. I know from experience that life can get in the way of crafting and/or blogging.
Love the clean look of your card and your sentiment is a fun addition.

I love this card. Less is Best in my book. I am so sorry to hear about your sickness and the terrible accident. You are so very luck you did not get hurt any worse than you did. I don't even move the car in my driveway without putting on a seat belt. It's just second nature to me. I am happy that you did get to spend time with your son last week though. That must have been your highlight of the month. I, for one, We missed you but totally understand. By the way, I've sent you a BIG package containing SNOW. I will have more to send you next week. LOL Have a good day.

What a GREAT JOB with the snowman trio, Benzi!

Dear BenBen - I'm sorry to hear those bad germies got you and your dh - that's not right - especially on vacation. Then to hear about your head-on collision - and the guy did not even stop! People don't think about what their actions are "costing" other people - not so much in dollars, but in sometimes life-long consequences. I hope you are both truly ok, and that your good health is returning, too.

I've missed you, and am so grateful to hear from you again, and enjoy your delightful artwork! xo

Welcome back Brenda! I've missed you in blogland! I'm so sorry about your accident - that had to be scary, but thank goodness all ended well, as those incidents don't always end quite so well! Your caroling snowmen are super cute and I love the sentiment too :) Have a great week ahead!
