Tuesday Throwdown & A Farewell

It's time for another challenge at Tuesday Throwdown. First, I have news that I am bidding farewell to the girls at Tuesday Throwdown. I so appreciate that these girls asked me to join them on their team last June. It has been fun getting to know them. I am on the Friends of Speedy TV blog team and then was asked to join the Sr. Design Team (Mark's Finest Papers, A Heinrich Company) and it will require a large chunk of my time. Also, I'll be working with another team really soon but it won't be as time consuming as even this one, so things will work out easier for me. Thank you so much TT team for your friendship while I was working with you and I wish you continued success with your blog challenge.

The theme this week at Tuesday Throwdown, challenge 82, is to use charms. I have this sweet bird charm sent to me from a good friend on SCS, Pam. The images were furnished to the team this week by Bugaboo Digi Stamps. I used an image called Flower Tags. Several die cuts were used on my card which are mentioned in the recipe below.  Get out your charms and come join us!

Recipe:
Stamps: Bugaboo Digi Stamps-Flower Tags
Paper: PTI white cardstock, DCWV The Mariposa stack
Accessories: Spellbinders Shapeabilities Pendants (corner), Cheery Lynn Designs A2 Frame die small window, Spellbinders Shapeabilities Fancy Tags Two, bird charm, Celebrate It! ribbon, Copics

Benzi, I know that the TT girls will be missing you, but there are only so many hours in a day. Plus I know you have to devote several hours a day basking in the glow of that Bama championship - LOL! Pamzi told me you were safe and no tornados got you yesterday - we had our main road closed due to downed trees and some metal from those straight line winds (possibly a tornado but probably not).

Hugz - stay safe!

You used that charm in a wonderful way and this card is so elegant and pretty. Very cool flower tag and awesome die cuts.

I understand you need to prioritize your time, but I'm glad you'll still be making cards and designing! This peach-colored beauty is just gorgeous! I love the bright white against that dreamy background abd those darker flowers add the perfect balance! Beautiful!

Benzi,

Thank you so much for being a part of Tuesday Throwdown for the last few months! It's truly been a pleasure and you will surely be missed! Your creations are lovely and I hope you won't be a stranger!
I'm sorry I didn't mention that this was your last challenge - I will fix that in the post. For some reason I was thinking that there was one more week in January...

Thanks again for all of your help and support!

This is so sweet. I love how you let the image wrap around the die cut. It's simply perfect.

How "charming", Benzi! (Sorry, just couldn't help myself.) I love the DSP in the background and it allows the lacy die cuts to stand out. Beautiful painted image too.

Beautiful as always, Benzi! I love the simulated lattice work behind the flowers, and of course your sweet dove charm. I'm so sad you're leaving our team, but hope to keep following your blog and being inspired by your wonderful creations. Hugs!
