FOSTV-Chalk

Hope you all had a great weekend. We have had family visiting since Thursday. We had good times but the weather has been on the rainy side and that spoiled a few plans.  But, we thoroughly enjoyed our time together.

This week the Friends of Speedy TV challenge #32 is to use chalk. It had been a long time since I had used chalk and I really enjoyed using it again on this rose from Mark's Finest Papers and Stamps, A Heinrich Co. from a set called Love Remains. The sentiment from the same company is from a set called Oopsy Daisy.

I used Craf-T Products Decorating Chalks-Pale Yellow, Forest Green, and Butterscotch
We hope you'll join us this week. Maybe you'll be the winner of this wonderful set called Buffalo Spring.

My card was also entered into Vicki Dutcher's DTGD challenge on Splitcoaststampers.

Wow, very nice! You do great work with chalks. They are super hard for me. Thanks for stopping by and checking on me today. I've got my post up now.

Girlfriend, you are creating some gorgeous CAS cards! This will sure bring comfort to someone. Great image for chalks too!

We didn't get too much rain in our neck of the woods. Would have liked to have seen more.

Ms. Benzi,
Could you do some sort of rain dance to send it our way?! We had about 8 drops of rain last night - and I'm pretty sure it dried up before it reached the ground! Your card is gorgeous, as always, and your chalk work is wonderful.

Sorry to hear our rain moved your direction (we got your sun instead!) but glad to hear you had a fun time with your family.

Great use of the white space, Benzi. That rose looks perfect centered as it is, and you've reminded me to use my chalks (SU set from years ago, but hey, I don't think they go bad).
