Boxes and Valentines For My Sweeties

Happy Valentine's Day to all my visitors!!

CCEE1307
Frances Byrne is hostess for this week's challenge at CCEE Stampers and asked that we create a flat backed treat box.....bonus points if you include a heart for Valentine's Day. The tutorial can be found here at Splitcoaststampers. I made this treat box above and the card just below for my two year old granddaughter. The card was made with a Meljen's Designs image/Sweet Heart Lollipop. The sketch can be found at Splitcoaststampers, SC418. The box was a bit hard to photograph as I wanted because I put the sentiment on top of the box and was trying to capture that, too.

The next treat box is for my two four year old grandsons (yes, I made two alike). It's a very simple box.  I'm thinking they will just be after the candy, anyway. :-) I found that the Lindt-Lindor chocolate truffles fit perfectly in these boxes.

I've made these cards for the boys using a sketch on Splitcoaststampers, SC409. The image is from Meljen's Designs/Lovey Pup. They were so much fun to make.

And, the next which is almost just like the one above...just a few changes.

Whew! That's it for the uploading except for my recipes below.. Hope you'll play along with us this week and make your own flat back treat box.

Aw, such sweet treats for your special Valentines. Hope you had a good heart day. Ours was nothing special, other than exchanging cards. Our 14 yo had her first real dinner date with her boyfriend. He worked as a babysitter to get enough money to pay for dinner.. Sweet!

Not just one but two treat boxes - you really did earn bonus points this week. The first one has a lovely vintage look with the tulle and postage-stamp paper, and the second one looks just perfect for a boy - not too "mushy".
