Pinecones

It's raining and very few trick or treaters are out in my area tonight. We usually have 200-300 and it is always so much fun. I have a lot of treats that need to be given away and out of my house. I guess the trick is on me and I have to eat all that candy. Ugh! I'll have to donate it to someone.

EDIT 11-01-13:  Yea! It quit raining last night about 8:00 p.m. and we went out and got rid of all the candy. Now, I can stay slim and not have to eat all of it. LOL

I have made a card for Queen for the Day #188 on Splitcoaststampers. Her name is Ruth aka RDey and here is the card I cased.

My card was very easy and quick to make. I ran the top layer through an embossing folder to look like snow and cut out my die cut pinecones. I added a sentiment and it was finished.

Hope you have a great weekend. This will be it for me for a few days.

Recipe:
Stamps-Stampabilities/The Night Before Christmas
Paper-PTI white cardstock
Ink-Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories-Sizzix Hero Arts Christmas Words and Dots embossing folder, Elmer's Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive,  Memory Box pinecone corner die cut

Brenda, I LOVE this! I have that die, a NBUS so far. It's beautiful on your EF & the white on white...so elegant. We didn't get our usual number, still got a good many. Got plenty of candy left though. Apparently didn't give out enough. 2 large bags, and we have about 1/2 of one left. Ugh. Neither of us needs to be nibbling on it, so it's gotta get gone. TFS & Hugs (our rain hasn't materialized as yet).

Very pretty card! You can always pull off white on white beautifully!

Not many trick-or-treaters here either...maybe 20 or so. Have a great weekend!

This white on white beauty looks so pretty!! it's delicate and a beautiful way to send greetings!
Good for giving away all that candy! We never get trick or treaters - they don't like walking up our steep driveway I guess :)

The white on white is very pretty, Benzi! Love those pine cone dies, too! It makes for a very elegant wintery card! We don't get trick-or-treaters anymore out here in the country. But, here and neighboring towns changed trick-or-treat time to Sunday due to the nasty weather we had yesterday evening. Darn weather!:-) You take care and have a great weekend, hugs!

Yes, it was a drizzly night for trick-or-treating here as well. We still got plenty of loot! Glad you got rid of yours.

The white on white is gorgeous!

Hi Benzi. Beautiful design for your all white Christmas card.

It wasn't raining here for Halloween night, but it definitely was a quiet one compared with past years. We had less than 100 trick or treaters at our door and they ended early (before 8pm). So, needless to say, there's lots of leftovers. Not that that's a bad thing :) Loll xx

OMG I can't imagine how hyper those kiddies were after their sugar rush (...their poor parents!) We only had about 50 and I thought that was bad enough .. no sweeties left in my house either hurrah!
Beautiful card, you're doing an amazing job with your 'white' cards xx

What a lovely card Benzi with all that lovely texture. I tried a white on white card recently and found it very challenging but you seem to have cracked it.

It is best to get rid of it all - we ate all ours before Halloween! Seriously! Good thing we get no Trick or Treaters! Love your pretty card - great case, super embossing and lovely details!!!! Hugz!

This is so elegant, Benzi! Did you notice that we CASEd the same card and each is so different! I like that embossing folder. It's pretty similar to the Cuttlebug. Are you happy with it? The offer still stands.

I can't wait to use my scroll Christmas stamp again! Seeing yours made me remember I need to pull it out. Looks great on this hushed white card.
