Happy Day

 This card was so hard to photograph....as you can see.

For QFDT203-Queen for the Day, Mix26-Use a stencil and two or more mediums, F4A208-A sunny card, happy sentiment, or a card make someone happy--- Splitcoaststampers

The new QFTD is Kathy LeDonne and this is her card I cased.

To make the bottom of my card, I used a Spellbinders Shapeabilities fancy lattice die as a stencil and rubbed on Liquitex modeling paste that  I had mixed it in a bowl with Heidi Swapp seafoam color shine spray.
It was a bit hard after it dried so I did some sanding to soften it. I also covered the flowers with modeling paste and used Heidi Swapp coral spray on them. It did make them stiffer. The centers of the flowers are My Mind's Eye enamel dots. The sentiment panel is also spotted with the coral spray.

I'm using a Cheery Lynn Design Fanciful Flourish.

Paper is PTI white cardstock, Stampin'Up! Crumb Cake and Sage Shadow. The dp is Prima Botanical Collection paper pad.

My sentiment is Mark's Finest Papers and Stamps/Welcome Poppies set

Have a fab weekend. I know many of you have more snow than you know what to do with. The photos I've seen are beautiful.

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

I'll enter the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge-Get Krafty-my flourish is Crumb Cake which is just about the same as Kraft cardstock

Well, today is Valentine's Day (by the way - hope you're having a wonderful day) so the correct work for today is LOVE - and yes - I LOVE this! Brenda, this is just sensational! Love the way you mixed the color shine with the paste and will have to try that!
So beautiful!

Am really liking this one, Miz B. Love the soft colors and all the pretties you have on it, but I was most interested in reading about the modeling paste (mine didn't spread well...never thought to add color to the paste! Good idea!) What S/B shapeability was this one? Surely made a most unique raised pattern on this really elegant spring feeling card. Hope your 2nd try at dinner out, worked better. We stayed in, quiet day. We can whoop it up later. When I don't have to fret that we'll get on black ice. TFS & hugs. Stay warm.

What a pretty way to surprise someone with a card like this! The bottom panel is so delicate and pretty and it seems you went to a bit of trouble to create it too! I love that pretty flourish and those delicate flowers! A sure sign of spring!

What a pretty card Benzi and I love the dimension that the paste adds. That flourish die is gorgeous.

Love that flourish and the pretty flowers! (I have a flourish die like that and it's NBUS.) Our snow is going away fast. That's the best kind of snow. I like that it melts before it gets so dirty!

Oh, how pretty and springy, Benzi! Those apricot blooms make me happy and remind me that, even though there's snow falling right outside my window right now, spring *will* come! {someday}
