Our February New Release Mini:

Spring Joy

My card using set Blessings
I just love bunny rabbits so this is the image I chose to use from this set called Blessings. The set also includes a beautiful lily and several sentiments, such as the one I'm using. It is great for Easter, Spring, Summer, or almost any occasion. I used MFP's Premium Heavy White cardstock and the designer paper is from The Mariposa Stack. The card is colored with Copics and I  made the sentiment tag by cutting a pennant design into each end of the strip of paper with my scissors and adding pearls. The small die cuts sticking out around the top of my image are just pieces from a Cheery Lynn Designs lace rose and flourish die that I had cut apart.

My frame was made using one of Becca's tutorial found here at Amazing Paper Grace. I love making it and it is really easy, especially after making the first one. I made the frame using a Moroccan border punch..not a punch around the page.

Also, another tip: After using my largest Spellbinders Blossom die for the rabbit image, I used one Lois' (one of our DT members) ideas to make the size I need to layer it on.  If your next nestabilitie size up is too large, or in my case, I had used the largest one,  just place the nestie you used on you paper and trace around the outside rim and cut with your scissors. It gives you a good size rim to layer your top one on without being too large.

Hope you check back tomorrow for the last day of our hop.

Benzi, you've just convinced me that orange is a spring color! I never think about using it except in the fall and for Halloween or Thanksgiving. This is spectacular! Gorgeous frame.

Neat frame with the MOroccan Lace punch, BEnzi! I have not seen that tutorial by Becca. Andrea Ewen did one just a week or two ago; haven't read through it all, but I earmarked it to try later.

Love this little bunny!
