Ladybug for the Queen
I made this card to honor QFTD25 on Splitcoaststampers. It is Phyllis aka sparkleplenty1000. She makes fabulous cards and is on the design team at the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge. I had no problem finding a card to case. I went a bit overboard as I was going to do something mostly white and delicate...well, you know...the best laid plans of mice and men. LOL
I also entered my card into the Inspiration Challenge on Splitcoaststampers. My inspiration was a ladybug potholder from Elizabeth's Embellishments here:
I am joining in the challege at The Paper Players found here: It is an "Anything Goes" challenge #13. That is always easy peasy.
Stamps: Ladybugs and Carnations from Mark's Finest Papers
Paper: Best Occasions Mixed Media from frame die cut, SU Real Red cs, black cs
Martha Stewart ladybug punch around the page, Martha Stewart double loop edge punch
Brads from Hobby Lobby
sheer ribbon
Off to the first football game of the season to see my National Championship team, the University of Alabama, play. Roll Tide!!!!

Holiday Birds - Challenges
I just love these little birds and it is the perfect card for today's Free for All F4A28 challenge on Splitcoaststampers. We are to make a card with an aviary theme and throw in one color we don't care for or normally use. I guess that would be yellow for me. I used only a little as a little dab will do me. LOL
I also am entering this card into the CES challenge found here. It is an "Anything Goes" challenge.
Also, my card is for a challenge at A Crafty Little Place found here. It is also an "Anything Goes" challenge.

Winter Tree
Thursday's challenge 'Ways To Use It' on Splitcoaststampers was to make a one layer card, no dp, although we could add some layers on top and embellies. I used an image from a stamp set I won playing the Speedy's Friends Challenge here.
I dabbed on a lot of glossy accents to the tree and added some Dazzling Diamonds...really gave a sparkle to the tree.
Stamps: Mark's Finest Papers (Snowman Country) To be released in October
Stampin'Up Dazzling Diamonds
Ranger glossy accents

StampinB & Speedy's Friends - Bird's Home
I'm hostess this week for the StampinB Design Team, Challenge #74, and asked that everyone use a charm on their card. There can be no excuses to not join in as this is just so easy.
Summer is winding down (unfortunately) and I wanted to use my pretty birdhouse with all the vines growing up...a sight we won't see much longer.
Hope you'll join us...and be sure to use that charm. We are located here.
My card also goes to the Speedy's Friends challenge #18 to make a Friendship card. The challenge can be found here..

I made this 3 x 3 note card/gift tag for Caardvarks challenge, Christmas Tags and Minis With Just Rite Stampers, found here. Mine is very simple...watercolored the image, cut out my circle oval and circle scalloped nestabilities, used my star punch to run my ribbon through, and attached a red checked gingham ribbon.
