Stampin' B's-TGIF and More

No, it's not Friday! The TGIF challenge comes from Emily Keaton, the Stampin' B's Design Team
'hostess with the mostest' this week. Here is what the TGIF stands for: T=Texture, G=Green, I=Iridescent, and F=your choice of something that starts with F, be sure to tell us what it is. My 'F' is for my FRAME. The button is iridescent. I embossed the blue cardstock for texture and the green was already embossed. And, the frame is embossed. Green paper and leaves cover the 'G'. So, there you have it.

Hope you'll join us for this fun challenge. If so, use the inlinkz tool on the Stampin' B's blog.

I love my bird stamp. It is a $1 stamp from Jo Ann Stores and I stamped, colored, and popped it up. The Spellbinders Decorative Oval Window Die is a Spellbinders made exclusively for Heartfelt Creations.

Flourishes Timeless Tuesday FTTC117-A Double Dose

This week's hostess at Flourishes Timeless Tuesday FTTC117 challenge is Betty Wright and she gave the 'Anything Goes' challenge. Who doesn't love that?
This is my second week to be Guest Designer for the team and I decided to use the beautiful Humming Along set. The card at the top is the one I finally settled on but did another one first:
I thought this one may be a bit too much but I guess that depends on whether you like more or less color.
It was easy to take off the top layer of nestabilities as they were on embossed paper and then just layer them onto white embossed cardstock.

I used the Spellbinders Grand Nestabilities Labesl 4 and the regular Labels 4 die cut. Copics were used for coloring and I am using my favorite Cuttlebug embossing folder in the top photo, Textiles. The hummingbird was stamped, colored, cut out, and popped up. I did an 'out of the box' on the image to get it to fit the nestabilitie (bottom leaf). I stamped another leaf to add to with the sentiment, ribbon, and stick pin.

Hope you'll join the team the week for the challenge. Be sure to check the rules and  leave a comment on the team's blogs.

Featured Stamper

Yesterday on Splitcoaststampers, Reddyisco was named Featured Stamper of the week. Believe me, she has an awesome gallery and I would love to case a million of her cards. She uses lots of baby's breath, vines, etc. in the corners of so many of her cards and they are so beautiful. I cased this card.

I made only one layer and it was a really, easy card. I had recently purchased a Rubber Stamp Tapestry set of 3 peg stamps called Sunny Daisy. I used it for the flowers and little branches in the corner. The other longer vine is Stampabilities Berryvine Border. The sentiment and side swirl are Flourishes stamps.
I have embossed the side swirl using gold ink and clear embossing powder. I really love my color and the ribbon...hope you do, too.
