Finger Painting

Hello Bloggers! It has been a while since I've posted. We had a great Christmas except for so much sickness. I was sick, my dil's were sick while visiting, and my son was suffering from back pain. I think I am about to get over my allergies after a doctor visit which included a shot and meds. My family left on Monday and the trees and decorations started coming down immediately. Everything is packed away and the house cleaned. Hubby returned to work yesterday after being off work for three weeks and I really miss him being here.

My card is a bit different stamps.  It's rather small, too, being a 4 1/2 x 4 1/2. I really like the size.  I wanted to do the MIX49 challenge on Splitcoaststampers and the challenge is Happy Little Clouds with finger painting. I smeared Tim Holtz Broken China paint at the top in a way that snow caps were made and then finger painted some white clouds with Liquitex modeling paste.

My trees were painted using Inka Gold Metallic Rub in green yellow and copper. I also painted some of the Tim Holtz paint for highlights in the snow.

As you can see, I used a polaroid style image.

Well, that's about it. I'll be by to visit your blogs and see what I've missed. I may not be able to comment on all but I'll see them.
