Stampin' B's-Poppies

I absolutely love poppies and this one is by Mark's Finest Papers called Poppies, Poppies, Poppies. This week Emily is hostess for the Stampin' B's Design Team and asked that we use a clip or pin of any kind. I made my stick pin with beads from Jo-Ann Stores. My card is really easy to make. I used an embossing folder from Sizzix called ornate frames. I colored my poppies with Copics and cut out and colored one extra to pop up at the top. I finished with a ribbon and, of course, the stick pin.

Hope you'll join us this week.

A Rose is a Rose

This week at Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Blog Challenge #133, Silke issued the challenge and  it is all about Bingo. That happens to be my favorite kind of challenge with so many choices.

I decided to go with the top, right row going down to the bottom left...a shaped card, pearls, and a charm. I'm using  the June Rose from A Year of Flowers 2
stamp set. They are all so wonderful for coloring. My card shape is from Spellbinders Grand Labels Four  and cut with the Grand Calibur.

Short and sweet post today...have a hair appointment...rush, rush.

Delft Tile

Yesterday's Featured Stamper on Splitcoaststampers was Lydia Fielder aka Understandblue. She is Community Manager of SCS. She also has talent and a wonderful gallery of cards to case. I chose this card.
I remember when she made her card and I loved her adorable shamrocks. Mine aren't shamrocks but kind of a little Fall flower.

My card is made from a delft tile tutorial found  in resources on SCS. Lydia used a heart punch to make her shamrocks and I'm using a Spellbinders Shapeabilities die called Contemporary Hearts.
I cut out the hearts, scored each one and turned over for placing. I stamped my background after cutting out my paper and scoring the tiles. Sponging around the tiles was next. I added my flowers, gold brads, twine for stems, a sentiment and called it finished. It was fun and easy tutorial from Julie Warner.

Gina Giraffe Has an Attitude

This week at Tuesday Throwdown -challenge #64, we are sponsored by Digis With Attitude.  I am using a Zoo-A-Tude called Gina Giraffe. We are supposed to do punny sentiment for our challenge. Well, mine isn't so punny but it is what I came up with. :-)

My card is rather simple. I used some safari paper, twine, and resurrected some old sticker brads. Gosh, I must have had those for about three years or more..glad to get to use them. My cloud is cut out of designer paper and I've used some twine, brads and a nestabilitie.

Hope you'll come up with something punny and join us.
