Two-Step Owl Punch, QFTD #24

Today's Splitcoaststampers QFTD #24 challenge is honoring Peggy-Sue, a good friend of mine. She has the most adorable SU Two-Step Owl Punch Art card I decided to case.
She used three owls but I wanted a Christmas card and changed it up a bit. I love this little owl punch. It is so versatile. I found directions for making the wings here.
I think the owl on the left is doing a little dance of joy for Peggy-Sue. LOL

All supplies are Stampin'Up!
Punches used: Two-Step owl punch, oval scallop, ex lg round tab, two-step bird punch
I cut my branches free-hand.
Paper: Chocolate chip, cherry cobbler, old olive, whisper white, and Jolly Holiday dsp
Ink: Cherry Cobbler
Stamp for sentiment: Holiday Happiness

Making Camp

Vicky Gould gave the Stampin B challenge this week to make a square card with a western theme. I'm so glad she wanted it square because I never make those. I really like this one and will now make them more often. I didn't have a western theme stamp so I used a digital image from Stamp-n-Doodle called Making Camp. The challenge can be found here every Thursday.

I'm also entering this card into the Treehouse Stamps blog challenge here. Their challenge THT064 is to use Fall colors: orange, olive, and summer sun.

I printed it on my watercolor paper, colored with my Tombows and a brush, added some twine and a brad, sponged the sky a bit and I'm finished. I think it made a super, masculine card.

Merry Christmas to You

I made this card for three challenges. On Splitcoaststampers, we honored Heather aka princessheather as Featured Stamper this week. I cased a pretty card she called Friendship. I wanted to make another Christmas card so just changed a few things.

My card is also for Stampin' for the Weekend found here. Anything Goes, just use a stamp or digi.
Also, my card is for Simple Doodles here, any kind of new project.

I'm using a Just Rite stamp called A Merry Little Christmas set and Stampin'Up
Night of Navy and white cs. My three punches are all Martha Stewart-double scallop, fir, and snowflake. I added a Martha Stewart golden sprig and it's all finished!

Snowman on a Doily

Yea for me! I won this stamp set from Speedy's Friends blog challenge. I just love it because I am such a snowman lover. It is a wonderful set I'll use a lot for winter/holidays. It is a Mark's Finest Papers set, Snowman Country, due to be released in October. You can find their challenge here.

At Splitcoaststampers today, the color challenge is Pacific Point (which I had to substitute), Old Olive, and Rich Razzleberry. The dessert option was a doily. I handmade mine using this wonderful tutorial found here.
I used a Martha Stewart corner punch called Quilted.
I added a Rich Razzleberry grosgrain ribbon, SU Dazzling Diamonds, and colored the image with

Tombow markers and a watercolor brush.

Holiday Hoopla, Delightful Decorations

Ooh, I'm so worried about getting my Christmas cards made this year. I am also late doing the FS184 (Featured Stamper) on Splitcoaststampers...so late, in fact, there is already another one named. This card is for Kathy aka CAKath. I cased her card but made mine Christmas. I have recently received an order from Stampin'Up! and wanted to use it. It is the Holiday Hoopla set for the Santa head and Delightful Decorations for the sentiment piece. Just added some rhinestones, red stickles, and a ribbon and one more card finished.
